Hunan Fireworks

It is known that the gunpower was invented in China, but the fireworks and firecrackers were generated in Hunan. According to the record of "China Industry and Commerce" fireworks and firecrackers started in producing in Tang Dynasty, flourished in Song Dynasty and generated in Liuyang County, Hunan. Up to now the history is more than one thousand years. The main manufacturers are scattered in Liuyang, Lilin and Youxian Counties. Now the whole province has more than 100 fireworks and firecrackers factories, which are fully reinforced.

In recent years, the production of fireworks and firecrackers has a great development. Many new items are produced according to the demand of international market. The export of the products is constantly increasing. The products are well-sold more than 60 countries, such as USA, Japan, Europian Countries and African countries. The large type fireworks, especially, has been displayed in the USA, Japan, Australia and South east Asia and Middle East, which is highly appreciated by the consumers.
